About Club Patara

What is Club Patara ?

Club Patara is an exclusive development on the east side of the bay of Kalkan, consisting primarily of privately owned villas and apartments, and the small but intimate Patara Prince Hotel. Together, they form what is known as Club Patara.

Architecture

The overall style of Club Patara is based on an ancient Lycian City, with natural stone walls, dusky pink elevations, wooden verandas and extensive landscaped gardens. A cobbled road winds through the development from the security gate at the top, to the sea terraces at the bottom. All properties have a wonderful view of the Bay of Kalkan, and internally are complimented by natural stone walls, marble floors and fireplaces

Facilities

  • Private sun terraces on rocky shoreline with direct sea access.
  • Numerous sunbeds and shades.
  • Two outdoor swimming pools on the terraces overlooking the sea, one of which is exclusive to adults only.
  • A number of small café/bars serve the pool areas, plus an Ottoman style open air relaxation room in which to escape the heat of the day.
  • Childrens Club with pool.
  • Health Spa, to include a Sauna, Turkish Bath, and Mini-Gym.
  • Tennis courts and Volleyball court.
  • Water sports, including water scooters, water-skiing, wind surfing, banana rides and many more. Diving tuition to PADI Standard is also available

NB: It should be noted however, that most of the activity facilities are chargeable.
  • Eating and Drinking

There are 4 restaurants within the resort, the Patara a La Carte by the sea, the Agora serving Italian cuisine, and the Apollina and Bezirgan restaurants serving Turkish snacks and self-service buffet. The Patara Bar, Agora bar and Apollina Club Bar also provide live music on different nights of the week throughout the summer season.

    Boat Service

A small shuttle boat runs between the club and Kalkan harbour from 9am until 7 pm daily, throughout the summer season, and there is a small charge for it’s use. Alternatively, Taxis can be booked from entrance reception, or Kalkan can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

    Security

The Club entrance has a security gate that is manned 24 hours a day.

    Shopping

There is a small shop at the top of the resort catering for basic requirements, but for major shopping, one has to travel to Kalkan town, where one will find larger supermarkets, plus numerous restaurants, souvenir and craft shops.
